EMDR Therapy

EMDR Therapy is best known as an evidence-based treatment for PTSD. Not only can it alleviate symptoms of single event and complex trauma, it has been shown to be effective for a plethora of other mental health conditions including: anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, etc. 

Nature-Based Therapy

Nature therapy (or "ecotherapy") is based on the idea that spending time in nature can help to improve our mental and emotional wellbeing through our connection to the living world. By using the outdoors as the "office," a therapist takes on the role of guide in facilitating this connection and through the use of nature metaphors can process deeper level issues. Concepts of reciprocity and harmony are integral to this approach. There is evidence to suggest that nature-based therapies can help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and can also improve our cognitive functioning.

CBT, DBT, Mindfulness

These approaches have long been in use to effectively treat a wide range of issues. Through the exploration of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected one can develop a better understanding of self and ways to facilitate lasting change.
